David W. Moore, P. Geo.

President, CEO and Director

Since Mr. Moore joined Serengeti in 2004, he has lead a team that has raised over $50 million in exploration funds and discovered two significant mineral deposits. This success was recognized by AMEBC co-awarding him the prestigious 2010 Prospector of the Year award for the Kwanika discovery. Before joining Serengeti, Mr. Moore had a 30-year career with Teck Resources and associated companies, where he participated in the discovery and delineation of mineral deposits in several countries. He brings experience and expertise ranging from grassroots prospecting to international exploration, business management and development, and a proven ability to recognize high-potential exploration targets and transform them into successful projects.

Eric Strom, P. Eng.


Eric brings more than 23 years of engineering, operational and project experience, including 12 years in Management and other Executive roles for Newcrest, Newgold, Rio Tinto and China Molybdenum Co. (CMOC). Eric has spent ten years building, operating and overseeing block cave mines including New Afton in Kamloops BC, and Northparkes Mines in Australia. Eric graduated from Queen’s University in 1995 with a degree in Mining Mechanical Engineering and started with Placer Dome in Timmins, Ontario. Over his career Eric has worked across Canada, Australia and the United States. He is currently working for Newcrest as the Head of Projects in Canada, focused on their newest project, the Red Chris Mine. Previous roles included Vice-President Projects and Innovation for Titan Mining, Director Underground Mining for Newgold, Mining Manager for Rio Tinto at Northparkes Mines, and superintendent of the Projects and Technical Teams building the New Afton Mine in Kamloops BC. Eric is a strategic thinker and champion of practical innovation and brings a deep understanding of the business of mining in Canada and abroad.

James N. Morton BA, LLB


Jim Morton is a director of Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. and played an instrumental role in Sabina’s acquisition of the Back-River Gold Project in Nunavut. He was a founding shareholder and director of Pathfinder Resources Ltd which was acquired by Bayswater Uranium Corporation. Jim is a former securities lawyer; co-founder -and now advisor- to Morton Law LLP, a Vancouver corporate finance law firm. He practiced corporate and securities law for 40 years acting for junior and advanced stage companies, primarily involved in resource exploration. He is a retired member of the B C Law Society, holds an LLB degree from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Western Ontario. He sits on Serengeti's Compensation and Corporate Governance, and Audit Committees.

Lewis Lawrick, B.Comm.


Mr. Lawrick is the President and CEO of Brionor Resources Inc., as well as Managing Director of Thorsen-Fordyce Merchant Capital Inc., a private Toronto-based merchant banking company focused principally in the resource and raw materials sector. Mr. Lawrick has extensive executive management experience in the mining and mineral exploration sector, and has held several positions in the private investment sector. Mr. Lawrick is a director of several public mining development and exploration companies.

Teodora Dechev, P. Eng, MBA, ICD.D


Teodora Dechev is   President, and CEO and Director of Mundoro Capital Inc., a Vancouver-based company that invests in , acquires, and develops mineral resource properties in Serbia, Bulgaria and Mexico.  Ms. Dechev brings over 20 years of investment banking experience and has participated in financings for more than half a billion dollars in the mining sector.  Her career in investment banking includes work at Desjardins Securities Inc., CIBC World Markets; and National Bank Financial.  She holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Canada, a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering (B.A.Sc.) in Geological & Mineral Engineering from the University of Toronto, is a licensed Professional Engineer in both British Columbia and Ontario, and holds the ICD.D designation.

Pamela White

Corporate Secretary

Ms. White has over 25 years experience in the TSX Venture Exchange industry, working as a senior securities legal assistant for over 15 years.  Ms. White joined Serengeti as Corporate Secretary in 2006.  She currently provides corporate compliance and regulatory filing consulting services to Canadian private and public corporations, acting as Corporate Secretary.

Sheri Rempel


Ms. Rempel has more than 25 years of accounting and financial management experience. She joined Serengeti in the role of Controller in 2007. Ms. Rempel started her career with public companies in 2001 and currently provides senior financial and advisory services to Canadian private and public corporations, acting in officer or Controller capacities.

Quinn Harper

Chief Geologist

Quinn Harper has been involved with exploration for various deposit types throughout BC, the Yukon, Ontario and Alaska over his 10-year career. Mr. Harper joined Serengeti as Chief Geologist in 2017, tasked with managing Serengeti’s exploration portfolio as well as the advancement of the Kwanika project through the completion of a Pre-Feasibility Study. Prior to joining Serengeti, Mr. Harper was Senior Geologist with AuRico Gold and AuRico Metals through the discovery and subsequent delineation of the Kemess East deposit. In early 2016, Mr. Harper accepted a position with Kiska Metals charged with managing programs in BC and Alaska, as well as completing a detailed study of the Chuchi alkalic porphyry project in north-central BC. Mr. Harper was born and raised in northern British Columbia and continues to draw heavily on his rural ancestry to advance mineral projects in the north.
